HR® Lubricating Jelly is the flagship brand for HR Healthcare, dating back to 1925 when Holland-Rantos began marketing what was then called vaginal jelly as HR Lubricating Jelly, which progressed into the go-to medical lubricant in the 1970’s and ‘80’s. HR® Lubricating Jelly is chlorhexidine free, yet still bacteriostatic ensuring protection from additional risks of infection to patients. It is widely used in hospitals and physicians’ offices during many routine medical procedures where a medical lubricant enhances patient comfort.
Surgilube® Surgical Lubricant is trusted by surgical and medical practitioners from around the world as a best-in-class lubricant for surgical and gynecological procedures. Surgilube is formulated to be bacteriostatic, and it is the only sterile lubricant recommended by Hologic for use with the ThinPrep Pap system as it does not interfere with cell collection that often leads to an undesired rate of false negatives (unsats). Use of Surgilube in gynecological procedures can reduce financial strain on a facility while helping to improve patient outcomes.
EcoVue® Ultrasound Gel was created to modernize the ultrasound gel market in 2018 by offering a new formulation that utilizes 99% natural ingredients without the addition of dyes, fragrances, parabens, or propylene glycol, making it Cal Prop 65 Complaint. EcoVue provides acoustic stability under temperature, offers excellent glide and easy cleanup. EcoVue offers a wide variety of packaging options with a focus on single-use non-sterile and sterile field-ready packets, and now comes in a higher viscosity formula for procedures that demand more staying power. As an alternative to the plastic bottle, the EcoVue® FlexPac® with a patented flexible package, is ideal for facilities with sustainability initiatives. EcoVue® Ultrasound Gel sets the standard in high quality ultrasound gel while still delivering bottom line value.
Allavo® Hand-Sanitizer was introduced to the market in 2020 to meet the demand for portable, personal hand sanitizing when washing with soap and water are not available as hand hygiene awareness became critical in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Allavo is a 70% ethyl alcohol-based hand sanitizer that kills 99.99% of most common germs and bacteria while the portable design is convenient for on-the-go activities and inclusion in PPE kits.
